Judith W. Herrman PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN from NurseTim, Inc.
Judith W. Herrman, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN, is a nurse, educator, and researcher with a passion for nursing education and helping adolescents and young adults stay healthy and learning. Judy recently published her 102th publication and speaks nationally and internationally about youth development, nursing education, adolescent sexual decision-making, and intimate partner violence. She also published the second edition of Creative teaching strategies for the nurse educator in 2015 and Fast facts on adolescent health for nursing and health professionals in 2014.
Judy is a retired Professor at the School of Nursing at the University of Delaware (UD) with a 28 years of teaching and research experience and continues to teach as an adjunct faculty. UD conferred Judy with her BSN, MS, and PhD in Urban Affairs and Public Policy.
Judy is active in professional, community, and advocacy groups and devotes energy to youth access to sexuality education, positive sexual health resources, and reproductive health services around the nation. In addition, Judy consults with nursing schools about creative teaching strategies, accreditation, NCLEX® success, testing, curriculum design, team building, and other topics revolving around enhancing nursing education and student learning.
The dates for the Spring NCADN Conference 2018 are Thursday April 19th and Friday April 20th at the Holiday Inn Resort Wrightsville Beach, NC.
